Rohan Ramanath

I'm a Graduate Student at the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Advised by Prof. Noah Smith and Prof. Norman Sadeh, I work at the intersection of machine learning and natural language processing.

Until June, 2013 I was a Research Intern at Microsoft Research where I worked on web-query segmentation and information retrieval. My research interests are:

  • Bayesian techniques for unsupervised learning
  • Machine Learning for Big Data
  • Natural Language Processing: Learning meaning of language
